One fan calls Ben G the Master of Elements. “I call my style Urban Techno Primitive”, he says. “I feel in touch with many time periods from ancient Egyptian, Greek and Roman eras to the Pop Art movement of the 60s, into the future and other galaxies.” Some objects appear to be magical artifacts from an archaeological dig while others could be from an alien planet’s treasure chest. Regardless of the influence, the look is all about letting the wearer show a truly unique and free expression of themselves. Be bold, be radical, be free when you wear Ben G. Celebrate life and glow with the flow.

Ben G’s work is a fantastic collision between fantasy and reality.
His motto is “Enhancing life through art and engineering.” With a background in television and theater, his designs reflect a dramatic flair, evident in the bold expression of his jewelry and hand-painted scarves. Each piece serves as a timeless accessory, essential props for a lifetime of fun and style.

Ben G dares you to question what is precious in the world of jewelry. After all, paintings and sculptures with a raw material value of a few dollars have sold for millions. If a piece strikes your fancy, it is priceless. The best possessions are treasures of the heart. “I have a secret treasure box. As a child it resided under my bed,” says Ben G. “Although it is locked, and opened by a little key its contents are only valuable to me.”

THE WORK

The jewelry is 3D printed at Ben G’s studio out of a plant-based polymer called PLA. This substance is durable, lightweight, waterproof and hypoallergenic. What’s more, it is a renewable and sustainable resource. Ben G hand colors the silk and rayon scarves one-by-one. “No two are alike for sure”, he says. “I couldn’t make a matching scarf if I wanted to so that’s one reason I don’t take orders very often.” All jewelry and textiles are signed with the Ben G logo to confirm it is an original art piece by Ben G, and making it authentic and collectable.

“I feel influenced by both architecture and painting. The architecture being the straight geometrical surface of the scarf for example contrasting with the impressionist paint marks on that surface. I like Frank Gehry, Calder, Matisse, Monet”, says Ben G.
